Inclusion & equity

As a professional massage therapist, I take an inclusive stance on body size, gender, sexuality and disability. I have worked on many types of bodies including and not limited to people who are gender diverse, transgender, queer, neurodiverse and those living with chronic illness and physical disability. I take a body positive approach to my work.

I enjoy working on all bodies and bringing the amazing tradition of Ka Huna massage to new and regular clients.

I warmly welcome new clients to tell me what adjustments I can make in my sessions to make the bodywork the most effective and nurturing experience it can be. This may include lighting, temperature, reaffirming communication or advising of painful or sensitive parts of the body.

I acknowledge that I hold the following intersecting privileges:

  • White, Australian

  • Small bodied and exempt from weight stigma

  • Able-bodied

  • Tertiary educated

I take an active learning approach to inclusion and equity as every person is unique and has different needs. I actively strive to welcome each person's needs and boundaries.
